After hearing the Beolit 12 for the first time in a B&O retail store, I was completely sold and bought one on the spot. Just a few comments on this piece of equipment. It is a self contained amplifier/speaker combination that utilizes Apple's Air Play tech. After a simple 5 minute link between the unit and one of your home computers, the unit is able to play songs wirelessly from your ipod, ipad or any computer using itunes. The sound produced by the Biolit 12 is simply amazing. Deep rich bass accompanied by clear treble and mid-range sounds make all music types sound like your are sitting in front of the artist live.Yes it is a little pricey, but, when you consider the sound quality, portability and ease of use, the purchase price is worth it. I find myself moving it from room to room and can't wait to listen to it out on my deck this summer. It's really not that hard to find a speaker that meets most of these requirements, but for whatever reason, there aren't many options that meet all of them! You will typically either lose the portability or the great sound characteristic. From my experience, the Beolit 12 does the best job at meeting all these traits.Not to deceive.... The setup was quick, the connection is 100% stable. Better the Apple TV! No problems with new ipad or iphone 4s! You can use the personal-hotspot-trick, than you can use ist wireless everywhere! The Handling ist great, a nice litte machine. The design is nice, but not real b&o style... The sound IS 100% B&O. Warm highs, natural middles, and a rocking bass easy down to 50 Hz! Compare to my mobile bose sounddock... this speaker is a lot better, and worth the price! Dubstep, Heavy Metall, Jazz or Classic Musik? No problem, the musik is full and rich of details!
