The question at hand will be what and how much of an effect will it be on an already awesome wireless system. I am running two Play:5 speakers and use them all the time, mostly mobile. The wife moves them around from the back yard to the garage to the front of the house ect.. I have a very nice surround sound system with the TV but I'm limited to just that room. Opening the box I see it's packed just like all the rest of Sonos product, top notch nothing but the best.... You pull from box and wow it is very heavy.Easy set up plug in power cord push Bridge button and sub button so they find each other. I use my Android app to control my system and presto it finds it instantly. Then go to system set up and that's where you can get crazy pair them up or set them up as right and left to work off each other. Then you can dial in the settings for the sub very easy. I have been using Sonos products for about 6 years and added the Sub to the Zone I have setup in my living room. The setup process was just like every other Sonos device... SIMPLE. That included the ability to tune the Sub and attach it to the correct Zone. I have always loved the Sonos Zone in my living room, but I didn't know it could get this much better. As soon as the first song started playing it sounded like a whole new system... the room FILLED in a way it hadn't before. I'm not a music junkie. I like what I like, but at home I'm pretty content with whatever is on. I bought Sonos last year and loved the simplicity of set up, the ability to control frommy computer or i-phone, the sleek design (yes looks matter to me) and the clear sound. I was thrilled with my purchase and after getting a speaker for one room, I quickly got more for the rest of the house. The kids each control their own music choices from their rooms (or I can override from my i-phone) Are you listenting parents I CAN OVERRIDE FROM MY I PHONE! Anyhooo, spouse wanted a subwoofer. I don't even know what a subwoofer was supposed to do. But it seemed like a nice birthday gift. So I got a subwoofer.
